We started doing it in 1990, ahead of the other custom stein\u00a0potters. Today we are told we have some of the most <\/span><span class=\"s3\">stunning combinations body\/rim glazes in the custom mug\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">business. Those two <a href=\"https:\/\/greyfoxpottery.com\/glaze-colors\/\">glazes<\/a>, when applied our traditional way, would mix and turn out awful. So we went to Plan B. Under a clear body glaze that reveals the soft natural cream color of the clay, we used bright orange slip on just the rim and foot<\/span> <span class=\"s4\">of the <\/span><span class=\"s5\"><a href=\"https:\/\/greyfoxpottery.com\/product-category\/tankards\/\">stein<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s4\">, then<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> vibrant green on their<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> custom logo medallions<\/span><span class=\"s2\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">We fired decals onto the back side with the same color green for a <\/span><span class=\"s3\">unique personalization<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> you get only with Grey Fox Pottery custom mugs. This is, we discovered, a great new way to use clashing colors on a mug that ends up looking beautiful! We tried something we\u2019d never done before and turns out, it made everyone happy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\"><strong><i>&#8220;We have received the beautiful mugs.
